- 1 tsp (5 ml) Garlic Powder
- 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Soy Sauce
- 120 g (4 oz) Sharp Cheddar Cheese, grated
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Chipotle Powder
- 1 Medium Yellow Onion, thinly sliced
- 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Butter
- 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp (5 ml) Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Olive Oil
- 2 Tbsp (30 ml) Pretzel Crumbs
- 8 Cilantro Leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare Cheese Mixture: Combine cheddar and chipotle powder.
- Season Beef: Mix ground beef with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Form into thin patties.
- Stuff Patties: Add cheese mixture to 8 patties, top with remaining patties, and seal edges.
- Cook Sliders: Grill or pan-fry patties for 3-4 minutes per side, until cooked through.
- Caramelize Onions: Sautรฉ onions in butter until softened, then add maple syrup and vinegar.
- Toast Crumbs: Toast pretzel crumbs until golden brown.
- Toast Buns: Brush buns with olive oil and toast until crisp.
- Assemble Sliders: Place patties on buns, drizzle with glaze, sprinkle with crumbs, and garnish with cilantro.
