Description

An easy, flavorful, slow-cooked creamy ranch chicken recipe that practically makes itself. Perfect for weeknights!


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your crock pot.
  2. Step 2: Sprinkle ranch seasoning over the chicken.
  3. Step 3: Pour the cream of chicken soup over the top, then add cream cheese in dollops.
  4. Step 4: Cover and cook on LOW for 6โ€“7 hours or HIGH for 3โ€“4 hours.
  5. Step 5: Shred the chicken with two forks directly in the crock pot.
  6. Step 6: Stir in sour cream and cheddar cheese (if using). Let it warm through for 5โ€“10 more minutes.
  7. Step 7: Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Use low-sodium soup to control salt. To thicken the sauce, stir in 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water and cook for 10 more minutes.
