- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your crock pot.
- Step 2: Sprinkle ranch seasoning over the chicken.
- Step 3: Pour the cream of chicken soup over the top, then add cream cheese in dollops.
- Step 4: Cover and cook on LOW for 6โ7 hours or HIGH for 3โ4 hours.
- Step 5: Shred the chicken with two forks directly in the crock pot.
- Step 6: Stir in sour cream and cheddar cheese (if using). Let it warm through for 5โ10 more minutes.
- Step 7: Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
Use low-sodium soup to control salt. To thicken the sauce, stir in 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water and cook for 10 more minutes.
